Tucked away in the sunburnt country is “Blooming Country” our small but stand-out agribusiness where we grow cut flowers.
Here’s an inkling of what’s growing, right now.

Lisianthus grown for successive harvesting from early October 2023, then year round. 18 varieties & colours.

Dinnerplate Dahlia harvest from December, other dahlias from November to May. We specialise in showy Dinnerplates with flexible but strong stems. 25 types and so many colours.

Early peonies such as Coral Charm and Marguerite Gerard from October. Late peonies from December, availability through to January/February depending upon type and seasonal micro-climate.

Ranunculus Elegance from Bianchieri Creazioni, autumn planting and harvest from mid-October. 7 colours.

Anemones in limited quantities autumn planting, and harvesting from November. Beautiful Mistral from Biancheri Creazioni; Rosa, Bianco in three types and two-toned Anemone Rarity.

Baby's Breath or Gypsophila - whatever you call it is fine with us. We're continually cutting and ripening five varieties.

Carnations - standards from January, sprays from December-January to March-April. Gorgeous colour palette from Hilverda.

Lilies - oriental lilies, hybrids and crosses. Harvesting early to late varieties from November to February/March.

Antirrhinum or Snapdragons - harvest from November through to January. Costa, Maryland and Monaco types, 6 colours. Very tall but flexible stems.

Stock - primarily Kabuki Stock and Iron Stock varieties commence harvest in November, ongoing to April. 5 colours.

Gladioli harvest begins January - limited quantities this year, grew very tall last year up to 1.3m.

Lilies - oriental lilies, hybrids and crosses. Harvesting early to late varieties from November to February/March.

Delphinium Elatum harvest from December through to March, 3 colours.

Carnations - standards from January, starz and sprays from December-January to March-April. Gorgeous colour palette from Hilverda range. Stunning in a bouquet.

Delphinium Consolida Delqis harvest begins January 2024. Pacific Giants spring 2025. 4 colours.
